1961 Mercedes Benz 220S SOLD

This a fin body, four door, off white, red interior.  There is rust in the floors, and as you can se, the front fenders, but otherwise, it is fairly clean.  The interior was re-worked before David bought the car.  It is red cloth.  The wood is in need of re-finishing.  A spiral notebook was found in the car and it documents history and shows that the speedometer has turned over twice, thus 240,000 miles.  These photographs were taken as David was intending to prep the car for paint.  The grill is back on, and all that is off is the front bumper.  But these are the photos that we have.  He drove the car for a summer and it has been parked in the backyard for over one year.  It still runs strong and has many good years left in her.
